Tours
Blow Me Down Adventure Guides can offer you two
types of ADVENTURE TOURS. You can choose from the Soft
Adventure Tour or the Hard Adventure Tour. Adventure tours are
$1200 ($2100 for two people) based on a one week
tour.
HARD
ADVENTURE HIKING The hard
adventure hiking is tailored for the more adventurous spirit, who
enjoys a more rustic experience. Two packages are offered:
Both packages are experienced in the Portland Creek area but
are set in a different direction. Each package has it's own
unique flavor and interesting local stories are told about the
area.
Eastern Side
Hike The Eastern side Hike involves an expedition
lasting three days and two nights. All meals and bedding
provided. Experience an abundance of wildlife in their natural
habitant and beautiful untouched scenic views. Learn the names of
different locations along the way that have been adopted by the
locals with their own unique flare such as "Crow Head Pond", "Wet
Ass Hill", "Round Hill", "Outside Hill", "Big Mish", "Foggy Mish",
and "Jedoors Mishs".
Western Side
Hike The Western Side hike involves an expedition
lasting three days and two nights. All meals and bedding
provided. Experience an abundance of wildlife in their natural
habitat and beautiful untouched scenic views. Learn the names
of different locations along the way that have been adopted by the
locals with their own unique flare such as "The Glaze", "Otter
Pond", "Stag Hill", and "Smarts Pond"
SOFT ADVENTURE HIKING
Torrent River Walk Enjoy the
Torrent River Walk located in Hawkes Bay. The Walk takes
approximately XX hours. While walking the well constructed
boardwalk, your guide will give you plenty of opportunities to rest
while you are introduced to any of the local fishermen attempting to
snatch an Atlantic Salmon. You will see a fair number of birds
and other wildlife along the way as well. You will learn about
the early history of the area rand Leowolf's adventures on the
mighty Torrent. Become a part of the history!
Hike Walk Hike The hike Walk
Hike involves traversing through and skirting around the community
of Daniel's Harbour for approximately XX hours. The central
attraction being the "high rocks" which were formed by glaciers
hundreds of years ago. Learn what these rocks meant to the
residents of the community. and hear a few stories from a local
resident along the way. The walk ends in the scenic Venture
Land Park. which has a unique history as well.
Moses' Hole Walk Moses' Hole
Walk involves a relaxing XX hour adventure along the rugged cliffs
and coastline of the community of Belburns. The walk continues along
the beach to Moses' Hole. Learn about the signifacance of this
simple spot and locals interaction with this location.
